Vampire

This a wide selection of vampire's that have appeared on BTVS. Please go to my "Email Me" section if you want information on a vamp that I do not have up.

Angel
First Appearance: "Welcome to the Hellmouth," season one
Other Episodes: Angel was seen throughout seasons 1-3.
Key Relationships: Sired by Darla (herself sired by the Master). Formally part of the Order of Aurelius. Sired Drusilla (who sired spike). Have been boyfriend and lover of Buffy Summers, though that relationship has ended.
Unique Attributes: Angel is the only vampire known to still have his human soul (in addition with the demon within him). Any moment of true bliss (such as sex with someone he loves) will remove it again, reverting him to evil form, Certain drugs that produce a blissful state can also bring forth the evil Angel, but the effects are temporary.
Most Monstrous Moment: Angel murdered his entire family, their friends, and their friends' children. Among his many other victims was Giles' girlfriend, Jenny Calendar (in "Passion").
Current Status: Angel resides in Los Angeles, California, where, with the help of Cordelia Chase and Wesley Wyndam-Pryce (a former watcher), he runs a private investigation service, through which he combats evil.
 
Spike
First Appearance: "School Hard," season two
Other Episodes: Spike is seen throughout seasons 2-7
Key Relationship: Sired by Drusilla (herself sired by Angel). Formally boyfriend and lover of Drusilla/Harmony Kendall/Buffy Summers.
Unique Attributes: The paramilitary antimonster U.S government operation called the Initiative implanted a control chip in Spike's brain that used to prevent him from harming humans. The chip was recently removed because it was hurting him.
Most Monstrous Moment: Spike killed two Slayers, one during the Boxer Rebellion in China in 1900, the other sometime later.
Current Status: Spike is now working side-by-side with Buffy to help her save the world (with other people) from the First.
 
Drusilla
First Appearance: "School Hard," season two
Other Episodes: All of season two with other guest appearances.
Key Relationship: Sired by Angel. Drusilla sired Spike. Formally girlfriend and first lover of Angel and later Spike. Left the latter for a chaos demon and a fungus demon.
Unique Attributes: Has both prescient visions and some facility with hypnosis. Not quite sane. Prone to hallucinations.
Most Monstrous Moment: Drusilla murdered a Slayer named Kendra (in "What's my Line? Part Two").
Current Status: Drusilla's current whereabouts are unknown.
 
The Master
First Appearance: "Welcome to the Hellmouth," season one
Other Episodes: Throughout season one with guest appearances.
Key Relationships: Sire of Darla. Leader of the Order of Aurelius. Grandsire to Angel. Great-grandsire to Drusilla. Great-grandsire to Spike.
Unique Attributes: So powerful that when staked, his bones did not turn to dust with the rest of his body.
Most Monstrous Moment: The Master is the only vampire to have actually killed Buffy Summers (she got better).
Current Status: The Master was killed by Buffy in "Prophecy Girl," and she smashed his bones to dust in "When She Was Bad."
 
Darla
First Appearance: "Welcome to the Hellmouth," season one
Other Episodes: "The Harvest," "Angel," "Becoming, Part One and Two."
Key Relationship: Sired by the Master. Darla was Anagel's sire, and therefore Drusilla's grandsire and Spike's great-grandsire. She was a member of the Order of Aurelius.
Unique Attributes: In 1898, brought Angel the Gypsy girl he killed, whose family placed the curse on him that restored his soul.
Most Monstrous Moment: After Angel turned into a vampire in 1753, he killed his entire family as a final act of rebellion against his father and Darla, who had encouraged this, mocked him, telling him that the memory of his father's disapproval would haunt him for the rest of his life.
Current Status: Darla was dispatched by Angel in "Angel," but was resurrected in Angel's first season finale.
 
Luke
First Appearance: "Welcome to the Hellmouth," season one
Other Episodes: "The Harvest," season one
Key Relationship: The Master's right hand. Meant to be the vessel in the 1997 ritual that would have allowed the Master to escape his Hellmouth prison.
Unique Attributes: Pre-Buffy, he was defeated in battle for more than a century and a half.
Most Monstrous Moment: As the brutal and ruthless leader of the attack at the Bronze at the end of "The Harvest."
Current Status: Buffy staked him on the stage at the Bronze at the end of "The Harvest."
 
Jesse (as a vampire)
First Appearance: "Welcome to the Hellmouth," season one
Other Episodes: "The Harvest," season one
Key Relationship: One of Xander's best friends (as a human). A servant of the Master (as a vampire).
Most Monstrous Moment: Jesse led his friends to the Master's lair and attempted to kill them.
Current Status: Xander at the end of "The Harvest" "accidentally" staked Jesse.
 
Thomas
Episode: "Welcome to the Hellmouth," season one
Key Relationship: A member of the Order of Aurelius, the followers of the Master.
Most Monstrous Moment: Thomas attempted to kill Willow but Buffy stopped him.
Current Status: Buffy dusted Thomas in a graveyard crypt.
 
Claw
Episode: "Teacher's Pet," season one
Key Relationship: A former member of the Order of Aurelius.
Unique Attributes: Had a claw in the place of a hand he had cut off.
Most Monstrous Moment: The guy cut off his own hand!
Current Status: Buffy exterminated Claw in "Teacher's Pet."
The Anointed One
First Appearance: "Never Kill a Boy on the First Date," season one
Other Episodes: "Angel," "Nightmares," "Prophecy Girl," "When She was Bad," School Hard."
Key Relationship: Destined to be the master's greatest warrior.
Unique Attributes: Well he is the Anointed One.
Most Monstrous Moment: Lead Buffy to her death in the Master's lair.
Current Status: The Anointed One was killed by Spike.
 
The Three
Episode: "Angel," season one
Key Relationship: Engaged by the Master to kill Buffy.
Unique Attributes: The Three were so obsessed with their honor and reputation that when they failed to kill Buffy, they offered the Master their lives.
Current Status: Darla executed The Three for their failure.
 
Absalom
Episode: "When She was Bad," season two
Key Relationship: Absalom functioned as a regent for the Anointed One, helping him to rule what remained of the Master's followers.
Most Monstrous Moment: Despite his eloquence, when entering into battle with Buffy, Absalom became just as brutal as the average vampire.
Current Status: Buffy burned Absalom to death.
 
St.Vigeous
Episode: None, discussed in "School Hard."
Unique Attributes: Patron saint to vampires.
Most Monstrous Moment: Led an ancient vampiric crusade.
Current Status: Unknown
 
Dalton
First Appearance: "What's my Line, Part One," season two
Other Appearances: "Surprise," season two
Key Relationship: Dalton was a lackey of Spike and Drusilla.
Unique Attributes: An academic-a rarity among vampires.
Current Status: the Judge burned Dalton.
 
Lyle, Candy, and Tector Gorch
First Appearance: "Bad Eggs," season two
Other Appearances: "Homecoming," season three
Key Relationship: Lyle and Tector were brothers. Lyle later married Candy (also a vampire).
Unique Attributes: Lyle has a cowardly steak; twice, he fled from the Slayer rather than fight to the death.
Most Monstrous Moment: Before becoming vampires, the brothers slaughtered the entire populace of a village in Mexico.
Current Status: the ancient beast called Bezoar killed Tector. Cordelia staked Candy. Lyle's current whereabouts are unknown.
 
Andrew Hoelich
Episode: "Anne,"season three
Unique Attributes: In life, Hoelich was an excellent gymnast, a skill that carried over into his life as a vampire.
Current Status: Xander dusted Hoelich.
 
Kakistos
Episode: "Faith, Hope, and Trick," season three
Key Relationship: Employed by Mr.Trick.
Unique Attributes: Cloven hooves and hands. Had a large scar on his face.
Most Monstrous Moment: Murdered Faith's first watcher.
 
Mr.Trick
First Appearance: "Faith, Hope, and Trick," season three
Other Episodes: "Homecoming," "Band Candy," "Bad Girls," "Consequences."
Key Relationship: Employed by Kakistos, and later employed by the Mayor of Sunnydale.
Unique Attributes: Has a taste for the employees for fast-food restaurants.
Most Monstrous Moment: Organized "Slayerfest '98".
Current Status: Faith dusted Trick.
 
Zachary Kralik
Episode: "Helpless," season three
Key Relationship: His psychotic behavior could be directly linked to his abusive mother.
Unique Attributes: A homicidal maniac-even by vampire standards-Kralik was obsessed with mothers.
Most Monstrous Moment: Kralik killed his own mother.
Current Status: Buffy killed Kralik by tricking him into drinking holy water.
 
Vamp Willow
First Appearance: "The Wish," season three.
Other Episodes: "Doppelgangland"
Key Relationship: Employed by the Master. Girlfriend and lover of Vamp Xander.
Unique Attributes: Apparently bisexual. Wears a lot of leather. Keeps Angel as a pet.
Most Monstrous Moment: Tortured Angel.
Current Status: Vamp Willow was killed by the alternate-reality version of Oz and that moment was replicated.
 
Sunday
Episode: "The Freshman," season four
Key Relationship: Leader of a pack of none-too-bright vampires at the University of Sunnydale.
Unique Attributes: A sharp wit and the ability to intimidate Buffy.
Most Monstrous Moment: She sired Buffy's new college friend, Eddie.
Current Status: Buffy dusted Sunday Sunday and her followers at the end of "The Freshman."
 
Harmony Kendall
First Appearance: "The Harsh Light of Day," season four
Other Episodes: "The Initiative," "Pangs."
Key Relationship: Was briefly Spike's girlfriend.
Unique Attributes: Even though she's a vampire, she still fights by slapping and pulling hair.
Most Monstrous Moment: Whines a lot.
Current Status: Living as a vampire somewhere in Sunnydale.
